Meet the Speakers: FCA Annual Conference 2026
We’re once again teaming up with the Fraternity Executives Association (FEA) to host our annual conference—and together we’re bringing you industry-leading experts who will share insights, trends and innovative ideas.
Tobi Johnson, President and Founder of Volunteer Pro, will be presenting Leadership in a Changing World: Adapting Today’s Strategy to Meet the Needs of Tomorrow’s Volunteers. As we focus on engaging alumni and volunteers to meet the evolving needs of our organizations and members, Tobi will help us understand the forces that shape volunteerism, community, connection, communication and engagement with this core audience.
Founded in 2015 by Tobi Johnson, VolunteerPro helps causes and charities build, grow and scale their volunteer involvement. Through best-in-class professional development courses and resources, they help staff gain practical, proven skills to lead volunteers with “less stress and greater joy.”
Tobi is also the president of Tobi Johnson & Associates, a consulting firm whose mission is to help nonprofit organizations make connections with remarkable volunteers. She has over 25 years of direct experience in nonprofit management, program development, program coordination, training delivery and learning design in the social sector. In addition, Tobi is intimately knowledgeable about the professional development needs of today’s leaders of volunteers. She was the Chair for the Certified in Volunteer Administration Job Analysis Task Force, responsible for updating the required competencies for the field’s only internationally recognized credential.
For the last decade, she has worked with local, state, national, and international human services networks and programs, including Volunteering Australia, CharityHowTo, the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging, Pro Bono Australia, the Kansas Health Foundation, Enroll America, the National Trust (UK), the National SHIP Resource Center, AARP, Random Acts of Flowers, Meals on Wheels Association of America, and others. She speaks and trains in the U.S. and abroad at national and local gatherings of volunteer professionals.

We’ll open up new ways of working, without losing sight of culture, mission or relationships.
With 25+ years of experience in leadership, education, and change management, Steve has impacted students and professionals on 250+ campuses. His journey includes roles with Pi Kappa Phi and the College of Charleston and decades of volunteer work with AFLV. As a storyteller and strategist, his work is grounded in a simple belief: stories move people, and people move change.
Leading the strategy team at Cabin, an AI transformation consultancy, Steve brings a thoughtful, human-centered approach to solving complex problems. They do innovation, research, product design, engineering and just about anything you need to lead digital transformation or user-centered efforts.
