Joining the Fraternity Communications Association is an essential part of your role in the communications department of your organization. By being a part of FCA, you can:
Meet other communications professionals in the fraternity/sorority community who share common needs and interests
Discover ways to do your job more effectively
Be exposed to up-and-coming technology and trends
Learn how to better work with volunteers and communicate your vision and goals to external audiences
Receive fraternity/sorority organizations’ magazines and benefit from reading articles and viewing design, writing, and communication approaches used in other publications.
Have access to the FCA speakers bureau, which consists of members who can speak to a range of topics including but not limited to publishing, public relations, crisis management, marketing, and multiculturalism.
Be invited to several events throughout the year, notably the Midyear Conference, Brown Bag webinars (once a month), and the Annual Conference.
Receive recognition via the annual awards program, in which awards are given in several communications categories (design, article content, website, social media and more).
Give back to other professionals who are starting their communications careers or positions at their organizations.
