Why Join Fraternity Communications Association?

Joining the Fraternity Communications Association is an essential part of your role in the communications department of your organization. By being a part of FCA, you can:

  • Meet other communications professionals in the fraternity/sorority community who share common needs and interests

  • Discover ways to do your job more effectively

  • Be exposed to up-and-coming technology and trends

  • Learn how to better work with volunteers and communicate your vision and goals to external audiences

  • Receive fraternity/sorority organizations’ magazines and benefit from reading articles and viewing design, writing, and communication approaches used in other publications.

  • Have access to the FCA speakers bureau, which consists of members who can speak to a range of topics including but not limited to publishing, public relations, crisis management, marketing, and multiculturalism.

  • Be invited to several events throughout the year, notably the Midyear Conference, Brown Bag webinars (once a month), and the Annual Conference.

  • Receive recognition via the annual awards program, in which awards are given in several communications categories (design, article content, website, social media and more).

  • Give back to other professionals who are starting their communications careers or positions at their organizations.
