Midyear: Magazine & Storytelling Summit

We’ll gather for FCA Midyear Nov. 4-5 in Dallas at Tri Delta Executive Office. This year’s Midyear conference will be a Magazine & Storytelling Summit!

You'll leave with more than inspiration — a personal magazine action plan and roadmap to elevate your magazine and ensure it’s a publication that “earns the coffee table.”

Programming

Whether your magazine is in print or digital (or hybrid!), sent quarterly or annually, to all members or a targeted group, this summit will provide you with the inspiration, ideas, best practices and tailored personalized action plan to elevate your publication. You’ll also be able to connect dots to how you tell your organization’s story and advance strategic priorities through communications, as well as learn best practices that will be helpful across different types of publications.

The program will be geared to magazine action planning with editors, writers and designers, AND any staff member focused on storytelling will have clear takeaways.

Speakers

Award-winning magazine strategists Erin Peterson, founder of Capstone Communications and one of the nation's leading experts on alumni and membership magazines, and Amanda May, award-winning art director and design expert, will lead the hands-on summit focused on creating publications that connect with our members.

If you want to go ahead and snag a deal by booking your flight super early, here are a few scheduling notes:

• We’ll start Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 1 p.m. CT and wrap up on Thursday, Nov. 5 at 3 p.m. CT.

• Before the program, we’ll offer an “add-on” for one-on-one magazine consulting opportunity, so we recommend arriving a bit early on Wednesday if you can.

• DFW or DAL airports are both less than 30 minutes from Tri Delta Executive Office.
