Annual Conference Business Meeting

Annual Conference Business Meeting

Dear FCA Member,

On behalf of the FCA Board of Directors, I am excited to announce that for the first time in the Fraternity Communication Association’s history, we will be holding a virtual Annual Conference Business Meeting.
Even though we are not able to meet in person this April, there is still important business for our association that still needs to be completed.

On May 15, 2020 at 2 p.m. EDT, we ask one representative from each member organization to log on and participate in this important business.

We will be addressing officer elections, important amendments to the FCA Constitution, the completion of our 2016-2020 Strategic Plan, the announcement of our 2020-2024 Strategic Plan plus a special announcement.

In accordance with FCA’s Constitution, the FCA Board of Directors is proposing two important amendments for your consideration, please review here.

Our committees are actively working on finalizing details for you including recognition of the outstanding work you’ve produced over the year and additional programming opportunities for us to learn valuable skills during this time.

Over the following weeks, we will be rolling out more details so please keep watch on both the Fraternity Communications Association websiteFacebook Page, as well as the Fraternity/Sorority Social Media Group for additional details.

I am extremely appreciative of the support the FCA Board of Directors has received throughout this pandemic. We couldn’t do it without the outstanding committees who have been actively working to make sure our vision as the Board is met.

Finally, I am in awe of the outstandingly creative energy each of you are putting forth to help your respective organization be successful in this tough time. Thank you for proving that we, as communicators, are an indispensable asset to the fraternal movement.

Interfraternally,

Alex Baker
Fraternity Communications Association President
