Maintaining Member Connections
Navigating the pandemic as a communications staff has been an overwhelming experience for many of us. FCA is here to break things down for you with three virtual roundtables topics that address maintaining member connections now and moving forward on Friday, May 15. Check out each roundtable topic below and click on the link to join the roundtable during that time, no registration is needed.
Roundtable One | 10:00-10:45 a.m. EST
Virtual Programming
As the pandemic continues to unfold, we are moving online and creating what seems like hundreds of digital programs for our members. Whether it's a webinar, digital convention experience or other virtual tool, how can we ensure that we push through all of the other resources that members are being offered and prevent Zoom exhaustion or fatigue? Join us for this roundtable as we dive deeper into this conversation.
Roundtable Two | 11:00-11:45 a.m. EST
Social Media
How do we create a meaningful experience for fraternity and sorority members come fall if schools are not back in session? What can we do as communications staff to support and/or engage these members on social media in the coming months? Join us for this roundtable as we dive deeper into this conversation.
Roundtable Three | 12:00-12:45 p.m. EST
Print Communications
How do you advocate for print materials and your organization's magazine when everything seems like it's going digital right now? How are we going to take print materials that we already have and reimagine them in digital form? In the coming months, these are some of the considerations your team may have to discuss. Join us for this roundtable as we dive deeper into this conversation.
Business Meeting
Plan to be part of this session to support the future of FCA but designate one person from your member organization to vote. If you have any additional questions, email FCA President Alex Baker at abaker@tke.org.
Friday, May 15 | 2:00 p.m. EDT
Business Meeting
Important business for our association needs to be completed this year. In the virtual meeting format, we will be addressing officer elections, important amendments to the FCA Constitution, the completion of our 2016-2020 Strategic Plan, the announcement of our 2020-2024 Strategic Plan plus a special announcement.
Friday, May 15 | 4:30 p.m. EDT
Zoom Happy Hour
What’s an FCA event without some quality networking and social time among your peers? Join us for a Zoom hangout! We will use breakout rooms to create small group conversations, all in good fun! Bring your favorite beverage and a fun discussion question.
